Mammoth 'heating gas'

GASSY mammoths helped to fill the atmosphre with greenhouse gas methane and keep the Earth warm 13,000 years ago, say US scientists. They also suspect that when the mammals disappeared, there was a fall in atmospheric methane that altered the climate.
